Denim.Denim.Denim!

I think it's safe to say it's the number one trend that we don't have to fear will ever go out of fashion. Whether it's distressed, dyed, fringed, layered, boyfriend shirts, skinnys, pop, spiked or flared, denim is always a girls best friend, and I for one can safely say "I LOVE DENIM!". There was once a time when double denim was classed as a cardinal sin, but do it right and you can definitely pull off the retro, old-school, I-don't-give-a-shit look to a T.  Just make sure you just add different shades and textures to your outfit and you can't go wrong! My favourite denim combo = light wash baggy boyfriend shirt tucked in high waisted dark bleached mini shorts, teamed with urban outfitters biker boots and chains. Perfection.

Just, how CUTE is this?! Might attract the wrong kind of attention on a night out, not to mention how it'd look after a few drinks BUT it's a really fun thing to try if you've got a white lipstick and black liquid eyeliner lying about! Took me literally one minute and made me fall in love with my own lips... 

As 2012 fast approached I was racking my brains to find a new years resolution. I could have gone down the typical route of: lose weight, do something new every single day, or the ultimate, find a boyfriend. Then as I was flicking the Company magazine there was an article on fashion bloggers. As a fashion devotee and a bit of a computer nerd I thought that setting one up would provide me with the creative outlet I feel I've been deprived of as of late. After telling friends, family and pretty much anyone who was willing to listen about how 2011 was the worst year of my life, I have a feeling that this blog could be just the thing I need! I'll admit  I'm a little nervous about this, it's not like facebook where my friends will just like a picture for the sake of it, bloggers on here know what they like and I'm worried 2013 will come and i'll have four followers.
Right now i'm not 100% sure on what I'll be blogging about, fashion will be number one, but I suppose there'll be entries on my day to day life, beauty products and general things that interest me :)
